    William Wilbur received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from California State University, Chico. He then completed Master’s coursework in Bio-Mechanics at Chico State. He received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000 and has been in clinical practice since then. Will began his career in the Chicago area for two years before re-location to his stomping grounds in the North State. Will has been a Chico Rotarian since 2008 and takes great pleasure in serving his community. Will fills his time outside of the clinic with his wonderful wife and two growing boys, enjoying a myriad of outdoor activities in all climates. Will has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist since 2005, with a recent re-certification effective through 2025.

    Amy Hirst, DPT received her baccalaureate degree in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico. She pursued her doctoral degree in physical therapy at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Throughout her studies, she spent many clinical hours in pediatric settings, coordinating toddler playgroups, and assisting with pediatric research. She has a passion to assist children to explore the world through play and improve their functional abilities. She received the Outstanding Student Award and Faculty Cup award at graduation for her outgoing attitudeand efforts to help others. Traveling to Ghana, Africa in 2013 to treat patients was the first of many highlights in her professional career. She has been practicing with Pillsbury Physical Therapy since 2014 and enjoys working with individuals of all ages and capabilities. While not at work, Amy & her husband, Kyle, enjoy making memories with their kids, Emma and Klayton.

    Michael Ellis is a recent graduate of the class of 2017 from the University of the Pacific with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He moved to Chico in 2009 and completed a degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico, in 2014. Professionally, Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is interested in orthopedics, strength and conditioning, and the tactical athlete. Michael is a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoys spending time with his young family, reading fiction and non-fiction books, lifting heavy things, and traveling overseas.

  • Joseph Barnett, PTA

    Joseph Barnett, a Chico native, received his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico and has been a licensed PTA since 2010. He is an advocate for organizations such as APTA, UHCW, and WTC. He strives for physical therapy to be a positive, progressive, and educational environment that optimizes patients' ability to function and enjoy life. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
