    Pillsbury Physical Therapy was established in Paradise by Chris Pillsbury in 2002. With his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of California, Davis, Chris earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, from the University of Southern California in 1995. Chris has been an Orthopedic Certified Specialist since 2002. Additionally, he completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy as well as Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship training in 2017. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. This is a credential shared by less than three percent of Physical Therapists.

    William Wilbur received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from California State University, Chico. He then completed Master’s coursework in Bio-Mechanics at Chico State. He received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000 and has been in clinical practice since then. Will began his career in the Chicago area for two years before re-location to his stomping grounds in the North State. Will has been a Chico Rotarian since 2008 and takes great pleasure in serving his community. Will fills his time outside of the clinic with his wonderful wife and two growing boys, enjoying a myriad of outdoor activities in all climates. Will has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist since 2005, with a recent re-certification effective through 2025.

    Michael Ellis is a recent graduate of the class of 2017 from the University of the Pacific with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He moved to Chico in 2009 and completed a degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico, in 2014. Professionally, Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is interested in orthopedics, strength and conditioning, and the tactical athlete. Michael is a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoys spending time with his young family, reading fiction and non-fiction books, lifting heavy things, and traveling overseas.

    Sean McEachern graduated from Texas State University with his Bachelors in Exercise Sports Science in 2017, and earned his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor in 2019. Seans passion lies in helping to restore and optimize movement. Sean is a Marine Corps Veteran (0331), blue belt in Jiu jitsu, national level Olympic Weightlifter, and most importantly a life partner to his Fiancé Caitlin and father to their 2 labradors.

    Kyle McArthur grew up in Paradise, California. After being away for school he is happy to be back in the support of rebuilding the place he loved to grow up in. After graduating from Paradise High School, he went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from BYU and taught K-12 PE and coached high school basketball in Utah for 3 years. He then earned his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. Kyle enjoys physical therapy because of the opportunity to spend extended time with patients in order to help them achieve their life's goals. He likes to hike, mountain bike, and play golf in his spare time.

    Joseph Barnett, a Chico native, received his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico and has been a licensed PTA since 2010. He is an advocate for organizations such as APTA, UHCW, and WTC. He strives for physical therapy to be a positive, progressive, and educational environment that optimizes patients' ability to function and enjoy life. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
